Victoria. I get you. I hear you. I know. I have many of my own including a betrayal from someone i actually thought was one of my closest friends. Its insanity. People acting and being irrational . Selfish and uncaring of others around them . It only confirms to me to go further inward. As if living on an island. Sad to realize that good people are being reduced to this. Seems a friend is just an enemy you have yet to meet / doug

Well, there are 'friends' and there are 'receptionists'.. Lol. Though I would agree that across the board, since 2020 especially, people are behaving badly. I don't want to live on an Island. If anything, the loneliness is the most disturbing part of life today. We live in a 'texting society', where in the 1980s and even the 90s.. there was close personal fellowship. Our plan, frankly, is we're leaving the USA this year. Counting the minutes...

I'll add.. I haven't given up on humanity! I have recently met some terrific people through Substack in fact! Though we're definitely investigating a far away 'physical' move. That is.. if the Lord tarries.. :>}

Attacks of the enemy and his underlings, I suppose...yet, the LORD sees all and saw to reimburse you. Congratulations on not losing righteousness! All of these little tests get tiring. In hind sight, however, you're passing them with flying colors. Keep up the good work!

As we're getting older, we gain perspective on how people have changed. I personnally have a hard time with our children's generation and the following. They have an "entitled" attitude. Usually the more education they have, the more they make up complex rules as to claim their superiority and have a sadistic politically correct way of putting people into submission (much like masks were pushed on us). Yeah, like "distancing" and "wait for the unreachable god" attitude. I would say the shots have zombied people's empathy center of the brain. At least your weird guests paid their bill, and you could cover the vets' bills. Will Vlad be okay? I guess you have to rely on your own knowledge... I'm a receptionnist. 'Lucky, in a place I can still keep my Christian values and give a sincere greeting smile. The "usual" receptionnist, mostly overworked, is used as a manipulation tool as a front line soldier to obey (at a minimal wage) to the hard-to-reach god with his narcissistic instructions (that make no sense anyway). -Not that don't undergo such behavior from my boss LOL...- In time the girls get pretty frustrated, and usually don't last very long.

Thank you for asking about Vlad. He is - thankfully - healing, if slowly. As a source of love (and Dopomine), I cherish his company and want to keep him happy and well.

Incredible! Not been my experience *yet*, but I think it is a sign you are "over target" as the saying goes and Satan is fighting hard against you.
