Keep writing Victoria. I have finally heard a release to leave my church with a new Cessaionist pastor and his bitter wife. We are now open to find a body of believers who will love as Christ loves and is full of the HOLY Spirit. We have so grieved. My husband is open to the move of the Holy Spirit..which he really doesn't understand. He is from very conservative legalistic Baptist background.

So...our journey starts

Just between you and me, and whoever reads this.. my experience with the Baptist believers, is that they are a mass of multitides, with no disciples among them. I'm not sure how that will pan out when the Lord collects his church, but I wouldn't want to be among them. They have thrown out 2/3 of the ministry of Jesus Christ, all of the power and authority he vested in us, and follow false doctrines. It is good that you are seeking a better place. May the Lord lead you both in this. Love always, Victoria

I can see the difference. I know it's true. Thank you.

I'm unsure (maybe I missed it...) of what you learned from going to the church? Also, I can't help but wonder which one you are in the photo? I'll take a guess and say the one over the right shoulder of the guy wearing the white flipped up hat?

All glory to God.

I don't know what happened to the caption! I'm in the very back row, 2nd from the Left. The gal in the white hat is a 'female' drill sergeant. She was TOUGH!

I'm sorry I didn't make that clear. When I got to the church about 1/2 hour late - Rick Renner, the visiting minister - just then walked out, and began preaching about 'the End Times'. Though he was talking through the sermon about how Christians should be courageous, and 'out there' - i.e.. brave and setting an example., then he moved on to psalm 91; which is about angels protecting us and our 'hunkering down at home'. (not unlike the disciples in John chapter 20:19 before Pentecost - behind closed doors for fear). When I got home from the service that day the Lord put it all together for me. He showed me how much 2 things were hurting his church. The 501c3 I contract with the US government, and Psalm 91; which does not apply to the church he created with his blood. He also showed me that ALL the churches that closed, cited Psalm 91, because the GOVERNMENT TOLD THEM TO. !
