WHAT AILS YOU? WOULD YOU LIKE TO KNOW HOW TO GET WELL? THE BIBLE HAS ALL THE ANSWERS.

In the 1970’s I was a very unhealthy gal, so I frequented a health food store called ‘Natures Pantry’ in Syracuse NY, in search of answers. The owner, Bob Piron - saw me in there so often, he offered me a job! And I accepted!

That job was the beginning of setting me on the right path for the rest of my life. For 2 reasons:

1. I read every health book in his store (some I still own to this day). One was ‘How to Get Well’ by Paavor Airola. It remains a classic in the genre.

I got to hear Dr. Airola speak live one time, and distinctly remember some profound advice he gave to the crowd -

“Of the 3 ways to be healthy, I would put my own field (health food) in 3rd place, behind.. exercise, and…. ATTITUDE!”

Perhaps the good doctor didn’t know it, but that’s the BIBLICAL TRUTH!

Today, I am actively involved in helping people recover health - and the SINGLE MOST COMMON REASON FOR DISEASE - IS as Dr. Airola said - ATTITUDE!! Including: FEAR; ANXIETY, ANGER, GUILT, BITTERNESS, UNFORGIVENESS... There is no one single factor as common in disease as these ‘attitude fails’. ¹

2. The other dynamic reason that job changed my life is that Bob had 5 born again Christians working in his health food store. THEY led me to Christ; and later ran a BIBLE class² for me (along with 11 others INCLUDING BOB PIRON!! Haha.. My boss finally took their BIble class when I TOOK it. We remained freinds to the day he passed away).

THAT BIBLE CLASS CHANGED MY LIFE.

What I learned about health from Paavo Airola and others helped me tremendously in this life time, BUT.. The reason my ONLY job is to MAINTAIN my good health, is for the deliverance and healing I received from Jesus Christ, and the deliverance and maintenance rules in the BIBLE.!

This evening at a Lion's Club meeting, my son, Nick, and I, met some lovely people, who told us about their relative, a young 23 year old lady, who has EDS.

I'd never heard of it, so I looked online tonight and found that EDS is a dreadfully painful disorder which carries with it a host of associated symptoms and ailments.

The paragraphs below are quotes from medical web sites:

"Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS) is an ‘INHERITED CONDITION’ that affects the connective tissues in the body. Symptoms are joint hypermobility; loose/unstable joints which are prone to frequent dislocations and/or subluxations; joint pain; hyperextensible joints (they move beyond the joint’s normal range); early onset of osteoarthritis. Soft velvety-like skin; variable skin hyper-extensibility; fragile skin that tears or bruises easily (bruising may be severe); severe scarring; slow and poor wound healing; development of molluscoid pseudo tumors (fleshy lesions associated with scars over pressure areas).."

"Ehlers-Danlos syndrome is caused by a defect in collagen production. This condition is caused by a group of genetic disorders."

This wealthy family that we met, had brought their daughter over from the UK to medical experts in Maryland and Washington DC for some fabulously expensive surgeries and treatments.

Friend, Do you also go to the experts? Is a doctor your first aid?

What I want to draw your attention to are the claims in the EDS definitions above, that a ‘defect’ or ‘genetic disorder’ are 'cause' for EDS.

No. They are not the cause. ‘Genetic’ is not a ‘cause’.

KNOWING THIS FIRST - Identifying the true cause of a disease or ailment is THE KEY to deliverance.

The reason this 23 year old has medical bills mounting up to half a million dollars, is because Allopathic Medicine has never gotten to the point where they can identify the 'cause' of disease.

In the definitions above the 'causes' of EDS are said to be a genetic disorder' or a defect in collagen production. Neither one of these is a cause. Both are symptoms of something.

The cause is behind even the disorder or defects, before they cause EDS.

There is a Biblical method for DIAGNOSING Disease, which the Scriptures teach throughout the book.

SIN LEADING TO PARALYSIS

In the Gospels, Jesus told the paralytic.. now go and sin no more lest a worse thing come upon you. Some sin in that man's life, had led to his paralysis. That’s what JESUS said and that’s what JESUS meant.

I have written about the SIN/SICKNESS connection and have more to write, though recently I was asked ‘If sin is connected to sickness, why didn’t Jesus say ‘Go and Sin no more’ to everyone he healed.?

The answer is 2fold: Once the point is made - that to avoid disease returning, one must also refrain from returning to the sin - it needn’t be repeated to be true.

Though ALSO, in some cases, the SIN that effected the sickness, was a one-shot-deal. In other words, it is not ‘habitual’. So the admonition to ‘sin no more’ is moot and healing may be affected simply by prayer.

PRIDE LEADING TO LEPROSY

In Numbers, Kings & Chronicles, we see 3 people whose aggressive anger, issuing from pride - leave them ALL with Leprosy, Na'aman, Miriam and King Uzziah;

The very clear lesson from these records is that unrelenting PRIDE can give a person a VISIBLE sickness.. that is, something that everyone can SEE (Leprosy is just such a sickness); which has a way of HUMBLING the proud. (It is this writer’s belief that a modern form of “Leprosy’ - in other words - a VISIBLE Sickness that is ‘humbling’ to an chronically proud individual - is ‘Parkinsons Disease’.)

ANGER LEADING TO GOUT

King Asa developed gout, a painful disease in his feet, as a result of pride and aggressive anger - in his case, against a ‘man of God’.

ENVY LEADING TO OSTEOPOROSIS

Proverbs 14:30 teaches that envy can lead to osteoporosis.

OCCULT LEADING TO DEATH

We learned from Jehoshaphat's brush with death (I kings 22:32) came from aligning himself with a spiritually dark person - King Ahab;

King Saul's death came from participating in the occult. (I Chronicles 10:13)

OBEDIENCE TO GOD LEADING TO LONG HEALTHY LIFE

In Deuteronomy 28 and 29, Moses taught that obedience leads to long life and good health, and that the opposite, disobedience, leads to the ‘curses of Egypt’ which are sicknesses.

THE SPIRITUAL MIRRORED IN THE PHYSICAL

The Apostle Paul taught us that the spiritual things of God, are mirrored in the physical (Romans 1:20) ‘This ‘mirroring of spirtual & physical is what enables us to determine why we are sick. A balloon for example, if you continue to puff puff puff.. will explode. So does anger do that to a person; The balloons that pop, or bubbles that burst, are seen in deep vein thrombosis, diverticulitis, various tumors, i.e.. things that grow till they pop.

²⁰ For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

SICKNESS ALWAYS HAS A CAUSE

Indeed, we are told that ‘the curse’ (which is what Moses called disease) comes "NOT without cause." (Proverbs 26:2)

Many a tremendous deliverance ministry has been based on THIS Biblical premise; remove the REAL cause, and the ailment will often go away of its own accord.

This writer's life is testament to this.

Over the years I have been delivered from neck immobility, sciatica, lower back pain, migraines, osteoarthritis, bulimia, scoliosis, chronic fatigue, tinea versicola etc, without ANY medical intervention whatsoever. NONE.

I have no ailments today at all, because the process of eliminating sin in my life has come to fruition.. I found out that Jesus did not lie to the paralytic when he told him it was possible to 'go and sin no more'.

In fact, my whole adult life I have not had ‘health insurance’ or Medicare- nor has my ex, nor our 25 year old son, AND WE HAVE NEVER REGRETTED IT, NOR NEEDED IT.

How did we have the conviction and courage to live like this? From the Lord’s UNFAILING ability and willingness to show us the root cause of problems, and then upon repentance and/or prayer, heal everything that ever ailed us.

A VERY UNPOPULAR PREMISE

People over time and in different places have wanted to skin me alive for suggesting that some 'wonderful saint' had sin in their life.

Too many Christians want to ‘justify’ a person’s sickness, correlating it with 'persecution'. But this is not the Biblical model at all. Sickness is never called persecution in Scripture. It is called a "Curse' and 'Torment."

In fact, check the Scriptures.. JESUS was never sick. His apostles were NEVER SICK. Only the unbelieving and disobedient multitudes were ever recorded as sick; or the blaspheming or sinning kings of Israel.

IF SICKNESS were persecution we should have seen JESUS or the APOSTLES sick.. but we never do.

PAUL was never reported as being sick. His THORN in the flesh is the Biblcal figure of Speech for - ‘People who persecute God’s people’. There are FIVE Old Testament USAGES of the expression ‘Thorn in the flesh’ and ALL FIVE of them talk about people persecuting people.)

TORMENT

In Matthew 18, the man who refused to forgive was 'sent to the tormentors'.

Unforgiveness is a sin, that leads to many physical ills.. cancers, tumors, phlebitis, hemorrhoids, DVT, etc. All of these have ‘torment'.

The other usage of torment in Scipture is powerful - VIZ:

FEAR HATH TORMENT. I John 4:18

I cannot possibly list all the people I know whose back problems, or cancers are due to fear. But FEAR is guaranteed to make a person sick, if they hold onto it long enough.

I myself had severe lower back pains until Pastor Scrivner’s wife pointed out that being ‘worried about money’ (fear) causes lower back pains. Our lower back being our ‘support system’. ROMANS 1:20 all over again!

GODS STOP SIGN

Think about it: Would God be Just? Would He be righteous?.. if He never given us SIGNS that we could ‘see’ that tell us how we're doing spiritually?

Would He let us get to the Judgment seat in complete ignorance of our spiritual state?

Romans 1:20 says that the reason for the VISIBLE spiritual and physical parallels is precisely that we will one day be..

'without excuse'.

When I have had an ailment of any kind, I go to the Lord and ask him,.. Lord, where am I missing the mark? And he is always faithful to show me. Then I repent. And in every single case (save one³).. the ailment has completely disappeared. (no meds, no surgeries, no medical expenses).

HOW TO FIND YOUR ROOT CAUSE

A CONVERSATION WITH THE LORD, A WALK IN THE SPIRIT - WILL REVEAL WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT ‘WHY YOU ARE SICK’, AND CONTAINS IN THAT REVELATION - THE PATH TO CURE.

AND IF YOU ARE NOT BAPTIZED IN THE HOLY SPIRIT AND ON SPEAKING TERMS WITH THE KING, YOU CAN GO TO A MAN OR WOMAN OF GOD WHO IS.. AND GET PRAYED FOR ACCURATELY. THOUGH THIS MAKES YOU A ‘MULTITUDE’ AND NOT A DISCIPLE. THAT DOES MATTER..

SO GET WITH THE PROGRAM AND LEARN TO WALK BY THE SPIRIT.

MY DEARLY DEPARTED FRIENDS

WOULD GOD ALL CHRISTIANS KNEW and BELIEVED THIS...

I knew a lovely couple,.. the wife was a friend from the old ministry from 40 years ago. We were both single for the longest time, and playfully chided each other about it. Finally she got married, and - understandably - when she moved away with him, she also moved on. I didn’t hear much from her for years, save for Facebook greetings. Then I heard she died.

But the way she died was totally tragic. Seems her husband got sick.. and by the time their medical bills reached a quarter million dollars, he was still sick, and she was sick with worry about how to ever pay the bills. She died first, in bed, of fear; He followed a few days later.

I went to their memorial service in 2018. The minister who presided said very nice things about the couple. But they were under the tutelage of this man, whose wife is a nurse, and who has publically said, ‘Doctors are for when our fail fails’. That’s NOT in the Bible. Did you notice that Jesus Christ had an apostle who was a doctor - Luke? But the Lord never ONCE sent anyone to Luke for healing.

Friend, it’s not a crap shoot to go to the Lord for healing.. it’s a crap shoot to go to man. There are THREE of us in my small family who only go to Jesus Christ EVER for our medical needs, and all THREE of us are perfectly well, (Though one of us smokes a pack a day! He left on his bicycle this morning to go to work.. as he does every day.. 65 year old)

PITY THE RICH

Where does that leave the 23 year old EDS sufferer? Well, I pity the rich... She’s going to doctors and is still suffering.. Who does that remind you of?

“She had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,..” Mark 5:26

Good Lord... is there anything new under the sun?

Ironically, when a young person has insurance and a rich father, which can supply half a million in surgical and other treatments, this is all too often the way they go.

This is where it's a bitch to be rich. (Jesus said so himself.. Matthew 19:24)

My heart aches for her. 8 years and multiple surgeries and her life is still a story of pain and suffering.

People are a lot like Na'man. They want to the drama before they'll do it God's quiet way.

PS I only started looking at EMS tonight but I believe it is rooted in self bitterness, and self guilt. Because the medical web pages say it is a precursor for, among other things.. osteoarthritis.. And the Lord HIMSELF Showed me where Osteoarthritis is rooted in SELF GUILT and BITTERNESS.

Is self bitterness a sin? Yes. It is. As is every untoward emotion. God commands us to love ourselves.

For this young lady to be healed, she may need to forgive herself, and learn to love herself. I wonder if she will receive that? And HOW she will find out..

It will take someone getting the information to her.. (don't wait on the churches..).. and it will require repentance and meekness.

Ah. How easy it should be to be well.

1. 3 of my sisters are in wheelchairs, One of them called me yesterday in desperate pain, unable to walk, in spasms running up and down her legs, suffering - among many other things - osteoarthritis of her spine, and facing two MORE surgeries for each hip.. But for the duration of their lives, all 3 of my sisters have refused to hear me. I would give anything to help them, but GOD HIMSELF cannot help someone who refuses to listen.

3. I”ve not written about the Tinnitus I have suffered since 1986. The Lord has never healed me of a very loud screaming ring in my left ear - a result of egregious repetitive sin in my life at the time. It is as if the noise is a constant reminder to NEVER RETURN TO THAT SIN. Friend, Christian or not, Jesus warned us we should NOT DIE IN OUR SINS. Check his pronouncement on the Pharisees to glean the gravity of that possibility → John 8:24.
