THE IMPORTANCE OF TESTIMONIES.. YESTERDAY WE PRAYED - TODAY I HAVE 5 VICTORIES ALREADY UPON ARISING..

In just the last 8 days since winning my courtroom victory, (12/03/24) the devil did his best to rob me of that joy and testimony. But he just gave me a NEW TESTIMONY,.. actually two,.. three..in just 1 MORNING!

QUICK BACKGROUND:

On Tuesday, December 4th, the day after the court case victory, the 40 year old furnace heating 1/3 of my house failed. So my kitchen, this office, 2 bedrooms, 1 hallway and 1 bathroom went cold. Very cold. And I wound up with a cold myself! (Probably for celebrating too hard Tuesday night!. Too many German chocolate cookies..)

Coincident to this, we had recently won a contract for work that would more than pay for a furnace. (WHICH CONTRACT- BTW - CAME IN WITH A CASH DEPOSIT - WHILE WE WERE ALL PRAYING ON THE PRAYER CONFERENCE CALL ON THE NOVEMBER 26TH!! WHEN WE GOT OFF THE PHONE, I FOUND THE DEPOSIT! HAHA!)

THAT JOB CONTRACT CAME IN WHILE WE WERE ON THE NOVEMBER 26TH, PRAYER CALL!!

Thanks to that contract deposit, when our furnace failed- we already had enough to buy a new one. Hows that for God’s timing!? (and foreknowledge?)

Also the contractor that had hired us to work, recommended their HVAC guy, Jim, who guided me in the selection of a new furnace. (An area I have no experience in).

So last Saturday I bought a Goodman Furnace on Amazon..

EXCEPT, AFTER I BOUGHT IT.. JIM CHANGED HIS MIND - and said to me, “Better, you should get a 2 STAGE - 96% efficiency furnace.. It will be an easier install, and you’ll get a refund of $1000 from NY State!” OK..

So I cancelled the Amazon furnace purchase that I’d just made, within the same hour.. Not expecting that Amazon would refuse to reverse the payment.. for up to SEVEN DAYS.. This, even though, Amazon claims to not ‘process the charge through until the unit ships..’

My bank assured me that Amazon had the ‘ability’ to reverse the charge immediately and release the funds I needed to buy the 2-Stage Furnace..

But NOOOO… On 2 phone calls to Amazon, speaking to people with foreign accents (centers in Mumbai or Indonesia?).. I got no sympathy..

“OH we’re SO SORRY,.” (NOT) (That you’re freezing in your home (Heh heh).. and we could allow you to buy a furnace with a simple procedure of releasing your funds.). “But we CANT.. Our Policy dictates…”¹

The veiled impression was that this overseas agents were only too happy to have me squirm. Half of me could understand,.. the other half of me was shivering.. and angry.

The OTHER IRONY is when we finished the contracted work last Friday, the final payment would ALSO have paid for a furnace.. but somehow this contracting firm seemed to be in no hurry to pay… (the devil was in the details)

TWO PAYMENTS DUE TO US.. both delayed.. a cold house - a cancelled furnace purchase - and all my bluster and frustration did not do a thing..

OK.. WHERE IS THAT VERSE…. THE ONE THAT SAYS.. YOUR BLUSTER AND FRUSTRATION WILL BREAK DOWN STRONGHOLDS..?

Are you like me.. ever? Fussing and fuming until the still small voice in your ear says.. ‘Pray.’

Isn’t one of Derek Prince’s most wonderful sermons on this very subject? -

‘YOU NEED TO COME TO THE END OF YOURSELF’

SO LAST NIGHT WE HAD A PRAYER CALL. THE SMALL GROUP OF PRAYER WARRIORS ON THE PHONE WERE WONDERFUL. AND THOUGH MINISTERS LIKE DANIEL OLUKOYA CALL FOR MILITARY PRAYER.. I HAVE SEEN ONE THING.. AND THAT IS.. ANY PRAYER IS BETTER THAN NO PRAYER. AND UNIFIED PRAYER - THAT IS WHEN ‘2 OR MORE GATHERED IN HIS NAME’- IS BEST!

We prayed for lots of things - for the world, for each other, and for me - in so many words → removing the ‘rod of the wicked’ from my ‘lot’, that my funds would flow. (Sermon by Daniel Olukoya HERE)

‘For the *rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the **lot of the righteous;

lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.’ Psalm 125:3 KJV

*Other translations have the word ‘SCEPTER’, rather than ‘ROD’, though both are the same, and the ROD seems to suggest a ‘pounding’ that the devil loves to inflict’

**Other translations have the word ‘LAND’ rather than ‘lot’, though I like the word ‘lot’ which suggests more than land.. Our ‘FATE’ for example.. is our ‘lot in life’.

1. SO I WOKE UP THIS MORNING TO FIND THE FROZEN AMAZON FUNDS WERE ALREADY RELEASED INTO MY ACCOUNT.

2. I WENT AHEAD AND PURCHASED THE SUPERIOR HIGH EFFICIENCY ‘REEM’ FURNACE WITH THOSE RELEASED FUNDS (Not on Amazon)

3. THE CONTRACTOR that we’d done the work for SENT AN EMAIL, THEY WILL ALSO PAY US TODAY!

4. VICTORY #4.. THE HIGHER EFFICIENCY FURNACE FROM ‘SURPLUS CITY’ IN INDIANA.. IS A BETTER FURNACE.. and..drumrolll.. IT’S FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS LESS THAN THE AMAZON FURNACE!!!

5. And while i’m sitting here,.. our 40 years old furnace is kicking out some heat, so I’m not even cold while I’m writing this..

How many victories do we need in one morning?

(I look forward to publishing the testimonials of our prayer warriors of last night, concerning their victories as well.)

I wish to add this.. I was SOOO tired last night, I had NOT sat and prayed in tongues prior to the call as I normally would, and had NOT had a nap to rest myself as I wanted to.. I ‘SUCKED IT UP (as the Marine Corps say) AND DROVE ON’.. AND THE LORD REWARDED ME FOR MY FAITHFULNESS.

EPILOGUE -

The REAL reason I am writing this testimonial., is that in my years of being a minister of the Gospel, and a prayer warrior, I have noticed something consistently: OUR TESTIMONY IS PART OF THE PROCESS OF RECEIVING ANYTHING; AND ALSO KEEPING IT.

If after person prays for their need - but does NOT CONFESS their results, either claiming them by ‘WORDS’ (Hebrews 11:1) or by ‘ACTION’, as the man in Matthew 12:13... If they WAIT to see if their withered hand will heal itself before they ‘STAND FORTH - AND STRETCH IT OUT’.. They will be disappointed in their expectations.

Also, it was the ONE LEPER that Jesus healed (LUKE 17:17-19 ) that returned and THANKED him - that was also SAVED. IT DOESN’T END WITH OUR RECEIVING AN ANSWER - OUR RESPONSE TO OUR ANSWERS MATTERS.

As the Scripture says in Revelation 12:11 -

^‘And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb,

and by the word of their testimony..’
