Verse 12 the 10 horns are shown as 'kingdoms', or 'nations'., (NATO) that give their forces and military over to the 'beast' (man of perdition/AKA antichrist)
Verse 16 - the 10 in unison hate the 'whore' and destroy her.

The USA officially became Great Babylon November of 2012 when obama was re-elected -the man that accellerated our spiritual depravity. From his re-election we went into a free fall. From just circling the bowl, to flushing us down. I like to say, 'he took the masks off'. That which people were 'inclined to do', suddenly was both 'legal', acceptable, and 'encouraged'.
We haven't seen the bottom yet. But Revelation 18:2 & 3 capulize the entire reality.
This explains why so many ministers speaking about the Last Days, have expressed surprise that America does not show up in Scripture in at 'Armageddon'. The nation will have been destroyed before that. There is a powerful figure of speech in Revelation 18, where the 'no more' of America is repeated 7 times:
Revelation 18: 11,17, 19, 21,22, 23,23 (twice) Look for the words 'any more'.. or 'no more'.
If you will study it, and ask the Lord to guide you, you will come to the inescapable conclusion that this last great empire is not omitted in Scripture. It is critical to understand that the End of the Book, (the Last Days) is explained from the beginning of the Book. (Isaiah 46:10) The Bible reads like a mirror, which is why it is a Book of Prophesy. There are analogies, templates, dymbols, dhadows, metaphors and allegories. This is why the Lord God had every right to expect His people to recognize His son, seeing as the templates for the Christ abounded in the ancient records of Joshua, David, Nehemiah (the wall builder), the branch, the man, the king, the only son - of the book of Zechariah - and 1000 other examples. Babylon from the very beginning, is a mirror of End Times Babylon. The first of all wars between nations was instigated by the original Bablyon. Nimrod was a 'man of war'. End times Babylon is the final instigator of war. I wish to reiterate, ask the Lord, see if he will not show you. In fact, I asked him decades ago, if the US was in Scripture. He took me immediately to Jeremiah 50 and 51 and Revelation 17 & 18.
Where in the Bible does it say that a coalition of nations will descend upon the USA to destroy her?
