So, you would like to hear from God? If you're a Christian, you can. And the way things are going, it's high time you learn. Though, you'll have to leave the Prosperity Gospel behind to learn how.

^‘For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.’ Romans 8:14

Jesus taught that a man can’t serve two masters; He specified the choice as being, ‘God and mammon’.

‘No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.

Ye cannot serve God and mammon.’ Matthew 6:24

Mammon is money.

Jesus was essentially saying, that if you pursue wealth, if that’s your Gospel, you will gain it by losing a relationship with God.

Moses said the same thing. He even wrote a song, so that Israel would remember his point. (Songs being unforgettable).. Moses told Israel, ‘You’re going to get comfortable, and you’re going to forget God’. ‘When that day comes, remember I warned you’.¹

Why was it a warning? Because - when they forgot God, when their Gospel became all about ‘comfort’ and ‘wealth’, and ‘living their best life now’., the ugliness started; the self love, the deceit, the covetousness, the idolatry, the cold heartedness.. and the bloodshed.

Is wealth what Jesus taught? Or did he tell us to ‘pick up our cross and follow him’..?

Wealth has never brought any man, or any nation, closer to God.

In this 2 Part message I will show you some fabulously wealthy ministers that preach to gigantic congregations in an increasingly fallen world; Then THE CRITICAL MESSAGE - HOW 2 AMAZING men that served God AND man as few on earth ever have - impacting millions -all by being ‘led of God’ - exactly as you and I are able -pointedly ESCHEWED wealth. We’ll get to them in Part II of this message.

But first, a bit about the Prosperity Gospel, that ruined America and the world..

WHAT GOD WANTS:

Friend, God wants to be in touch with you at all times; If you are born again of the spirit of God, you should be ‘led of the Lord’ and I mean all the time. A relationship with Jesus Christ means just that. You are now → led by the Lord. That’s what your spirit is for; power and communication. For receiving routine commands from the Army Chief of Staff - Jesus Christ. It should be the most natural thing in the world to you.

This is not just for an ‘annointed few’. There is ONE God, ONE Lord, ONE spirit, and ONE baptism. That tells you that we’re all equipped the same way.

Every man of God before Pentecost - Abraham, Jacob, Moses, David, Joshua, and all the prophets that communicated with God, did so because they had spirit upon them - though in their case their spirit from God was conditional, and could be removed. (Numbers 11 and Psalm 51 illuminate this point)

Starting with Pentecost though - ‘holy spirit’ was ‘born within’, making it permanent; Now it is called ‘seed’ (I Peter 1:23) and puts every saint on equal footing with God. In a nutshell meaning that everyone with holy spirit should be 'being led by the spirit of God’. In my old ministry, we used to call it - ‘Listening every moment to the spirit’s call’.

If being led of God meant as much to Christians as reaping riches - the world would be a different place.

Among other things, it would never have taken 4 years for spirit filled Christians to figure out that the contrived pandemic was an orchestrated assault on humanity concocted in a lab - and with a view in mind to driving fearful gullible masses to occultic vaccines. How many LIVES might have been saved!

(I must add here, that in 2020 I did go to the Lord about the peculiar news coming from China’, asking ‘What is this about’? He answered immediately- “It’s about control”. No one in my house had any illusions about covid; we never wore masks; we never took tests; and we certainly never took any vaccines, AND we warned anyone that would listen. Few did.)

One thing money can’t do is heal the sick or bring back the dead. There’s a famous quote, (I don’t know if it’s anecdotal or true) where a Vatican cardinal told a visiting minister- “You see, we don’t need to say ‘silver and gold have I none”. To which the minister retorted “But neither can you say, ‘Such as I have give I thee.. Rise up and walk’.

A Power Filled Church

Years ago, living in Virginia, I often visited a power based church up in Baltimore Maryland, called The Baltimore Christian Faith Center’. It was an hour drive to get to church on Sunday, but it was well worth the drive. That’s where I first encountered the remarkable power based deliverance ministery of Texas pastor Thurmond Scrivner - whose prayers, later in 2006, saved the life of my then husband.

What if I had been more interested in the Prosperity Gospel of the Churches in my immediate vicinity? Many of them, like Mclean Bible Church were MUCH larger than the Baltimore Christian Faith Center².. They had very entertaining services, and even very good speakers.. like Lon Solomon.. but no power. Their ministry to the disabled amounted to having a special building built to accommodate them, but not with a view to healing them.

What if I had preferred the larger churches with the exciting messages.. and didn’t want to drive an hour to a smaller church? Andre would probably not be alive today.

The Prosperity Gospel depends upon YOU depending upon THEM.

From where I’m sitting, prosperity preaching has not done much for the world; In fact, it has done nothing to stem a growing tide of wickedness and incredible suffering of people everywhere. I’d even go so far as to say it ‘enables suffering’, because first, it does not teach compassion, and it does not to teach to the saints’ their individual power base of healing and deliverance’.

YES I know that Billy Burke, and the rest of his ilk practice ‘healing’. (That I witnessed Burke ‘pretend’ to heal a blind woman, is besides the point. We know they’re charlatans). That’s one of their methods for drawing the crowds; The LIE of it, is that to receive something, someone needs to go to THEM, and tithe into their til, to receive from God. What an abomination!

Prosperity churches remind me of a quip I just heard on Substack.. “Rich governments tax Poor People and send the money to Poor Nations, where it goes to a few rich people..”

Sounds sort of like the American Church in the US and the places it has influenced. We all know the names of rich US pastors,.. Copeland, Olsteen, Jakes, Meyer, Burke, Dollar, Hinn et al; Right? Have you also heard of pastor David Oyedepo? His net worth is said to be about $150,000,000. That’s fabulously wealthy by any standard, yet in his case, he’s in the second poorest country in the world. Nigeria. Only India is poorer. About 87 million Nigerians live in poverty.

What is Oyedepo’s gospel doing for Nigeria? Just about nothing it seems. But it’s doing what his mentor, Kenneth Copeland, taught him it should do - enrich him. How do I know what Kenneth Copeland taught him? Well, you can only teach what you preach; Besides that, I have seen the disgusting video where Kenneth Copeland annoints Billy Burke ..“You are now annointed to receive money’.

I would wonder how this warped message in the churches has managed to attract such large multitudes, but then, it’s in the Biblical mirror!

THE MIRROR OF THE SCRIPTURES

(First: What do I mean by mirror? The Bible ‘tells the future’ - by the past’. Just as when you look in a mirror, the further BACK anything appears - tells you how FAR in the opposite direction you’re seeing it. That’s the Bible. A mirror. The FURTHER BACK you read - the FURTHER AHEAD in time you are seeing. (The pivot point is Jesus birth).

Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done. Isaiah 46:10

That is WHY GOD MADE MIRRORS - To show you how the Bible predicts the future.

So, what do we see when we look back? We see Mt. Sinai, a Reflection of the Church after JESUS ascended; The people of God were SAVED from Egypt, by a SAVIOR, who brought them to the EDGE of the Promised Land, where they were tested - before going in. VERY few made it, (Joshua, Caleb, some adults and the children born in the wilderness). Millions didn’t → because of unbelief. That is, the multitudes in Israel did not believe God. The Multitudes in the Church of God in Christ are being tested right now, just outside the promised land. And multitudes are sitting in these warped churches.. as they were at Mt. Sinai.. lined up behind the wrong men.

‘Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.’ Philippians 2:12

AS IN THE DAYS OF NOAH

Look back even further and you see Noah in the wicked era that Jesus said would ‘resemble the LAST DAYS’. Do you see it? We are in the Days of Noah - This is it.

We are THAT FAR into the end of the Last Days. A very few people were ‘on board’.

Today, the warped theology that passes for contemporary Christianity has done no one any favors. Jesus Christ’s ministry and message of healing, of deliverance, and of power, has been diluted to a passive, powerless, prosperity focused platform that bears little to no resemblance of its founder or foundations.

What’s worse is that the counterfeit Gospel has been exported all over the earth, leaving millions of peoples victimized by wicked governments and devils that they have spiritual authority over. The tremendous authority and power base of the individual believer is almost nowhere to be seen.

Looking in the mirror we see what Jesus said we would, a time frame that Scripture describes as ‘engulfed in wickedness’. Remember Genesis 6:5.. ‘Every imagination of the heart of man is only evil continually’. In fact, it is this close resemblance to Noah’s world, that tells you how close we are to the end of this Age. And just like the ‘birth pangs of a woman in labor’ the siesmic shocks are getting closer and closer together,..

IF EVER THERE WAS A TIME TO NEED TO BE LED OF THE SPIRIT..

Perhaps, the one bright side of the seismic psychological shocks,.. drones in the air,.. earthquakes on the ground.. wars and rumors of more.. viruses and variants.. is that God Almighty is back on people’s minds more than any time in recent memory.

This is good. Maybe the True Gospel will be heard again too - the one that actually helps people. The one that teaches Power that makes a difference to all, rather than Prosperity that makes a difference to a very few on the receiving end..

Tomorrow, 2 men in the 20th Century who changed their world - being led of the Lord.

I keep putting the time I finish my posts up, because of how often it turns out to be the countdown clock… which clock goes ‘17, 27, 37, 47, 57’, etc.. as you see here from the time and temperature. What does this mean? Time is running out on this age. But more than that.. something is about to blow sky high. I hope it is the Church..
