JUST STOP IT ALREADY. STOP DEFENDING THE INDEFENSIBLE PRETENDING IT'S HOW CHRISTIANS GRIEVE..

We know Erika is faking it. But what irks me even more are the ‘Christians’ who defend her, masonic rings and all.. saying:

‘We all grieve differently”.

• Maybe. But nobody grieves by fighting back laughter.

• By coming into the public sphere with grand speeches.. before the corpse is cold.

• By celebrating the future of the ‘cause’ because that’s what mattered most.

• Who does that? Especially in the wake of having the love of your life, the father of your children, →brutally assassinated..

Did she actually love him?

What do people who suffer loss do?

• We think about the all years we missed together.

• We still see the empty seat at the table.

• We grieve the loss of the voice,

  the presence,

  the hand.

• In Erika’s case, what about the dad her children won’t have growing up? Are they supposed to just ‘look forward to seeing him in 70 years?’

• Who is supposed to read them bedtime stories while mommy is touring with Megyn Kelly?

They say, “She’s a Christian. She doesn’t have to grieve because knows she’ll see him again.”

I’m a Christian. The one love of my life died, and I reverence his memory every day. I cannot begin to imagine grandstanding the loss. I never married again. I’ve slept alone for 20 years. I talk to myself, I walk in the woods alone as he used to do for years after fate cut us asunder. And though I know we’ll meet again, it has never assuaged the fact of a lifetime alone. Fate separated us 50 years ago, and then again by death. I know I’m not the only devout Christian, who misses someone terribly and can’t imagine behaving like Erika Kirk post factum murder of her husband.

Christians in grief don’t say - ‘It’s ok, we’ll all meet again someday’. That’s what actors say. Like the guy whose mom got ‘shot and killed’ at church the day before.. He said to an interviewer the next day - “She’s in a better place.”

This fakery is an offense to Christiandom.

Not to mention, if the church members forgave and forgot, why the lawsuit?..

On a purely personal note.. After I posted this, I looked at the time. There were 3 sets of countdown numbers on display. 27, 27, 67.. (I’ve explained in another post that the number 17 starts a countdown, 17, 27, 37, 47, etc) to the return of the Lord for his Church.)

A split second after I took the screen shot, 2 were gone. But I was shown them even momentarily, as I have been throughout the day for a year now.

What does it mean? That time is counting down, for those of us who are suffering genuine loss of loved ones and counting the hours till we meet again. We don’t have to wait too much longer.
