DOES GOD WANT US TO GO TO DOCTORS?

WHAT DOCTORS AND CIRCUMCISION HAVE IN COMMON...

THE 4 BIBLE SCRIPTURES ABOUT PHYSICIANS

do not paint doctors in a very positive light…

MARK 5:26 - ‘And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse.’

II CHRONICLES 16:12,13 - ‘Asa in the thirty and ninth year of his reign was diseased in his feet, until his disease was exceeding great: yet in his disease he sought not to the Lord, but to the physicians. [Thus] Asa died in the one and fortieth year of his reign.’

JOB 13:4 ‘You are forgers of lies; You are all worthless physicians.’ KJV

JOB 13:4 ‘You use lies like plaster; you are all worthless healers.’ CSB

In this verse a ‘physician’ was used to describe the epitome of deception.

PHYSICIANS NO LONGER NEED APPLY..

Like animal sacrifice, or the Old Covenant, physicians were a ‘shadow’ of a better substance to come.

They were a template of the true physician; Jesus the Christ.

Isaiah prophesied that the coming messiah would ‘heal us by his own stripes’. This is the first place that healing is identified with ‘he who was to come’.

SO WHAT YOU’RE SEEING HERE.. There is no mention in the Bible of a son of God being encouraged EVER to go to a doctor. Not once.

GOD KNOWS the FALLOUT of a misplaced trust in doctors, drugs and Allopathic medicine, is UBIQUITOUS.

Physicians are never mentioned in Scripture in terms of ‘healing us’. Never. They are not to be trusted for healing today any more than a slaughtered ox for salvation’.

OK,. BUT WHAT ABOUT LUKE?

COLOSSIANS 4:14 ‘Luke the BELOVED physician and Demas greet you.’

Why was a physician beloved?

The man himself was beloved. Luke was a fervent disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ. Yet, even with Luke around, a 'physician on hand’, there is no record of the Lord EVER sending anyone to Luke for treatment. JESUS healed them ALL.

So says Matthew 12:15 -

“But when Jesus knew it.. great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;”

Add that to Hebrews 13:8 -

‘Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.’

What do we get?

Jesus heals all who come to him; and has never changed. No reason to ever go to a physician save for routine stitches or bandages. That’s besides the point of the sorcery that modern medicine, and pharmaceutical medicine amounts to.

I like the way another blogger cleverly words it the ‘murder medical corps’.

Man’s medicine is NOT how God heals. FIND ME ONE SCRIPTURE THAT RECOMMENDS IT! (and I’ll eat my hat)

So, you have the answer to the question. No. God does not want His people to go to any physicians for disease save the Lord.

OK: What about .. Does God want us healed? YES!
The answer is found - again - in Matthew 12:15b

‘..and he healed them all”

No one failed to receive that came to Jesus.

OK.. Does God make us sick? NO!

SICKNESS IS GOD’S GRACEFUL STOP SIGN. It happens without His help..

Sickness is a natural physical reaction to sin. It is God’s natural STOP SIGN; In His ineffable grace, the Lord God provided a CLEAR warning that if we do not repent we may die in our sins.

If we did not have a way of knowing when we are in sin, (sometimes we don’t know, sometimes we do), then Romans 1:20 could not say … ‘..that they will be without excuse’.

Sickness is Heaven’s way of telling us when we’ve missed the mark.

Sickness is by design, and by permission, to let us know that something needs to be repented of. But it is NOT to be taken as God’s WILL for us. That is the ironic opposite of the message of sickness. Sickness is meant to TELL US we are off the mark spiritually.

God allows us to be sick, that we can - as our instinct suggests - SEEK WELLNESS.

God does not made us sick.  Sickness is a stop sign. If you run a stop sign, accidents happen.  

QUESTION: If God did not want us well, why would his son have been constantly, and still be, actively healing people?

Would Jesus happily be fighting against God?

He heals to this day, everyone that comes to him, though his proxy healer may be a minister).

We become sick when there is sin to be dealt with - (even if it’s just ¹unbelief - which is sin.)

Emotions can be sinful. For example, anger kept more than a day, jealousy, envy, bitterness, self guilt, self animosity, hatred, unforgiveness when forgiveness is asked for, and at the top of the invisible sin list is ‘UNbelief’. In Numbers it is called ‘evil’. (Num 13:32)

REPENTANCE - ala JOHN 5:14

And a careful study of the Gospels shows clearly, that what the Lord said to the healed paralytic, (in John 5:14) was key to - getting healed and KEEPING IT. GO AND SIN NO MORE..

So, with healing must come REPENTANCE.. else the healing (and the person) may be short lived.

Does it matter if we die in our sins? Yes. I offer both Scriptural and empirical proof.

The Lord when chastising the rebellious Pharisees, said to them,

John 8:44 ‘Ye are of your father the devil..’

John 8:24 ‘and ye shall die in your sins’.. pronouncing that as a fate to be feared.

EMPIRICAL

In 2018, I was sent by the Lord to pray for a woman who was in a hospital, in a coma, dying. She was at the end of a 3 year battle with cancer. Unfortunately, the Christian woman, and her large family, belonged to a church that did NOT believe in Healing². (The family was the ‘music ministry’ of the church.)

New in the area, I’d been attending that church for a short while, and had met the dad and their young musicians, but had never met the mom, who was home sick for 3 years.

When I entered the hospital room where she lay, her husband and her sister were present. The mom was unconscious, in a coma, as she’d been for a week. I asked them if I might pray for her. (having had the Lord direct me to go, I assumed that was the program). The husband smiled and said ‘Yes, please’.

I was not directed to heal the woman or raise her up. I was directed by the Lord to remit her sins. My short prayer included comfort for her mourning family. Then I left.

A week later I learned that while my eyes were closed, the dying woman’s sister noticed the heart monitor >regulating. After I left the mom woke up! She spent one more happy day surrounded by her family, who got to say their goodbyes. Then she fell on sleep, with her sins remitted. CLEARLY that mattered.

Unbelief is a deadly thing.

This was not the only church I’d ever visited that was prostrated by unbelief. Not by far. This whole business of prayer lists in church.. is endemic, as it is useless. ‘Sally has cancer, Betty has angina, Bob had a heart attack and is waiting for surgery - let’s all pray for them,’ is a tradition of men with no power, nor Biblical basis.

Jesus NEVER called for crowd prayer.

BTW, Jesus NEVER engaged Luke to even help him pray!

(He did call on Peter, James, and John when he went to raise a little girl from the dead). The reason is not necessarily that he needed their help, though joint believing is powerful - > But He was TEACHING his disciples HOW TO RAISE THE SICK and DEAD. Because that was to become OUR JOB.

The basis is always FAITH - NOT numbers.

(If the Church would just believe what is written, how many people would be here still.)

So, Doctors are contrary to deliverance, AND in fact, counterproductive. WHY?

• If GOD made us sick, then to go to a doctor is tantamount to rejecting HIS will.

• If we DO get well, after a surgery or drug treatment, but the sin/s that made us sick was left unaddressed, we may very well die with those sin/s intact.

• This practice of going to ‘doctors’ instead of Jesus, has left the Church vulnerable and feeble, setting a terrible example for the world who sees it as ‘no different than any other organization’.

HERE’S SOMETHING REVOLUTIONARY TO UNDERSTAND - PHYSICIANS WERE - IF ANYTHING - ONLY A TEMPLATE OF THE TRUE PHYSICIAN.

The Old Testament contains SHADOWS of the true, TEMPLATES of the permanent, and PATTERNS of what God intended to be best. There is a very long chapter on this topic in the book THE TYRANNY of MASKS (pages 23 - 26)

The best example of these principle of patterns, may be seen in the PASSOVER Sacrifice - Which from EGYPT onwards, thousands of years ago, was supposed to prepare God’s people to recognize the FINAL SACRIFICE to END ALL OTHERS. Jesus the Christ.

SAME with Physicians. Doctors for healing were in the world fpr thousands of years - UNTIL THE GREAT PHYSICIAN WOULD COME and NULLIFY their relevance.

We are no longer to sacrifice animals, circumcise our sons, nor go to physicians. THEY WERE PATTERNS OF WHICH JESUS CHRIST IS THE SUBSTANCE FOR ALL TIMES.

I won’t dwell on this point, except to say I know 8 people personally, of which 5 are ministers, who would be alive today, had they not gone to 'doctors other than Jesus Christ’ for treatment.

That’s not to say they didn’t pray. Perhaps they thought they were believing God, by praying for their treatments and physicians. But they might as well have been praying for the lamb they were about to sacrifice, and hoping it would ‘save their souls’.

Do you think this is radical? It’s not. It’s Biblical. God NEVER sends men to doctors.

(But VICTORIA - WHAT ABOUT A CAR ACCIDENT…? EMERGENCY SURGERY?

But never forget the primary will of GOD for you is OBEDIENCE, and the eschewing of everything occultic - since it is some vestige of the occult that is behind EVERY accident. Clean your camp kid.)

That said, EVERY CHURCH needs to have an active healing ministry. It goes with the program of salvation. How many people came to Jesus to be saved, BECAUSE they first came to Jesus to be healed..?

1. When you are repenting of sin, forsake not to repent of things like UNBELIEF - or fear or unrepentant anger and/or unforgiveness. Which are some of the most overlooked of sins.
