When I went for a run along the Erie canal tonight, it was already pitch black out. In fact it was eerie.
The trails were packed with snow, and residual ice, so from time to time my foot slipped an inch, but I caught myself on the next step.. (Sort of like life lately). (But I do say this regularly to keep myself grounded -
He maketh my feet like hinds' feet, and setteth me upon my high places. Psalm 18:33
Do you say that too? It works for SO many things..
Just like the verse the Lord gave me on the morning I was to be induced to give birth (I was 2 weeks late, at 42 years of age, having my first child, we were understandably concerned).. Before we left for the hospital, my husband and I opened the Book, and were taken to Isaiah 66:9.. another VERY useful verse..
‘Would I lead you to conceive, and not lead you to deliver?’
You cannot use that promise too much!
Anyway, I’m saving for those aligator jaws that you clamp onto your winter shoes to run on snow and ice,.. but till then, the promise in Psalm 18 keeps me steady.
Well, the temperature was 27 degrees (a heat wave compared to the last few weeks) and the sky was overcast; which made this ONE SINGLE star stand out ALL THE MORE.. as it has for the last 6 or so months.
This “star’ doesn’t move.
I noticed it in the late summer in the Western sky, right next to the moon for a long time. The moon moved. The star stayed.
Stars don’t do that. It LOOKS like a star, it’s very bright, and way up high, but.. it has not moved in 1/2 a year.
And frankly, it’s not VERY high. The last time I paid it any mind (tonight too in fact), it was the ONLY star showing on a cloudy night, and it was illuminating the CLOUDS as if sitting in a cloud bank.
Does anyone have any idea what it is?
(Undoubtedly, if it IS a star, it is visible for most of the NE US States.
PS. I DID get a terrific up close photo of the ‘star’ with my amazing (5G) Samsung 23 Ultra phone camera, but before I could download it,.. the phone was destroyed. (That’s the phone I took this pic of the moon with.. Looking for satellites. It amazes me how with 11,330 satellites up there, somehow there is always a clear -unimpeded view to the moon. Fact is, I have NEVER seen a satellite in my sights.. Hmmm…)
In the photo I got of the ‘star’, it was kind of ‘squarish’.. Like nothing I’ve seen, though I don’t look at stars often..
WHICH BTW, REMINDS ME.. if anyone has my OLD phone number ending in 0593 (Crystal.._) and have tried to call only to be told the ‘mailbox is full’.. I can’t use the phone and can’t get messages.. And I may no longer have YOUR number; (Samsung won’t let me transfer the SIM card to a phone that I didn’t buy from them.. So I have 5 old phones in drawers that they won’t let me use.. so I’m paying for service that I’m not using, because I’m still paying on that phone.. ( /:>{ ) but I’m not about to go buy another expensive phone..)
SPEAKING OF WHICH - That’s the SECOND time my 5G phone was damaged (this time worse than the 1st (The first time I drove over the phone, this time it went into the washing machine with bleach.. (don’t ask).. tho I can’t help but wonder if the Lord is protecting me from 5G.. for a reason.. (Which is why I’m NOT buying a new phone from Samsung.. they ONLY sell 5G phones now, and I have made up my mind to forgo 5G from here-on in, until I do away with cell phones altogether).
Anyone have any idea what that is in the Western Sky?…
It's raining here in the Chicago area so I can't verify it now. In the past it has turned out to be Venus, but (there's always a but) the planets and stars are really cymantic energy objects. That's if you subscribe to the earth being a flat realm with the firmanent above. Yes some think they are sentient too. If you look at it with a small telescope or even binoculars you can see the fluctuatiions revealing cymantic patterns (sacred geometry).
someone else was mentioning a star that looked rectangular
