7 But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee;
and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee:
8 Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee:
and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.
9 Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the Lord hath wrought this? Job 12
Dear Subscriber,
This note to you is a long time in coming, but I believe ‘late’ is better than never. :>} I am writing to welcome you, and to thank you for entrusting me with your time and attention, in a world vying for both. I sincerely appreciate and respect that.
In this introduction I wish to explain why my blog is called ‘The Parallel Universe’.
The name stems from the premise of a most distinctive Bible verse. Distinctive, that is, in the endless array of truths that may be realized from just one verse: Romans 1:20
‘For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen,
being understood by the things that are made,..’
even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,
Romans 1:20
Romans 1:20 IS the Parallel Universe. It is here we learn that God placed a mirror between the visible and the invisible that everything that may be made known of God, is.
That is, God used ‘invisible things’ (words) to create that which we ‘see’, (the physical world)- meanwhile … watch this now….→
designing those physical things to permit us to see → ‘the invisible’,
To the end that His spiritual truths teach us everything we need to know about HIM.
Do you see it? → God made the world to work 2 ways… The visible showing us the invisible.. even as the invisible was used to make the visible!
This is GOD explaining Himself all around us.
So that in that Day we will be ‘without excuse’ before Him, for what we ought to have known. It’s all in the parallel mirror.
One simple example is ‘sickness and sin’. Our ‘physical infirmities’ (visible) show us our ‘spiritual infirmities’ (invisible sins). That’s why when the root cause (the spiritual sickness) is removed - invariably the physical sickness disappears with it.
There are many other examples of this mirror, which I’ll be writing more about, but what I really wanted to say now is,
‘Thank you for coming on board’.
You are God’s best, and you are welcome! Your comments and questions and discussions are also welcome!
God bless you in the name of Jesus Christ,
Victoria
It may be that you tire of my opposition to your god. Is so, so be it. But your opening verse is just a repetition of Native American beliefs from way before you god allowed them to be slaughtered.
I see your profile and respect your service. But "Thou Shalt Not Kill" You have killed, and through your work allowed the slaughter of thousands of your brothers and sisters.
Me. I've killed no one, though my service on a kibbutz during the Yom Kippur War did allow one young Israeli man to kill his enemy.
