President Putin said in his interview with Tucker Carlson,.. "Moscow has never refused to hold talks on Ukraine and is confident that the conflict will sooner or later end in peace, and relations between the two countries’ people will be restored."
That's not such a pie in the sky prediction from Putin, though the odds are not especially high due to one thing.. a generation of young Ukrainians growing up since 2014, being taught to shout Nazi slogans. and hate on Russians.
When my ex lived in Russia, 30 years ago, Ukrainians and Russians were one country. It was called ‘The Ukraine’, a region in the USSR. In 1991, Ukraine became a nation for the first time ever, after the withdrawal of the Soviets occupying Russia, and the many other formerly sovereign nations that made up the Soviet Bloc.
Up until 2014, Russians and Ukrainians, for the most part, got along fine. Then Victoria Nuland visited Kiev, brought cookies and $5,000,000,000 to execute regime change. Her visit was followed by the Maidan massacres. (Recently I saw a meme saying 'If you see this woman in your country, you're about to have a revolution'. The photo was of Nuland)
Since 2014, the bloodthirsty NAZI party in Ukraine has been financially supported by the West (amazing isn't it?), and by the Jewish Zionists (Amazing isn't it?), and allowed to wreak havoc in Ukraine, against Russians. Their indescretions, and grisly brutality (Odessa, Donbass, Donetsk,.. May 2nd, 2014).. have been completely ignored by Western governments, and their media accomplices.
As a result, Americans thought the war started in 2022
Fast forward to 2024; If you have never listened before to Vladimir Putin, now is your chance to do so, and rightly judge the man and his intentions, as the Bible tells us to: (John 7:51)
It must have been a good conversation, with valid points, because people in Congress and the British government are up in arms, and have likened Carlson's interview to treason! (Some of the same people that brushed off biden's toying with confidential US government documents as.. the innocuous actions of a demented old man with a bad memory.)
In fact, the only demented folk with a bad memory would call Carlson's interview treason. They forgot that Barbara Walters and George Stepanopoulous, Oliver Stone, Meagan Kelly, and others have also interviewed Putin- and were heralded for doing so.
That's America. God Forbid the people hear an alternative view - eSPECially Russian. I’d say, don’t miss the interview, and by all means, go back to before 2022, and hear Putin in other talks - explain what led him to invade Ukraine. Truth is liberating.
