THERE IS A VERY INTERESTING STORY ABOUT THIS DOG -
This is Angus. Angus was the product of a no-planned mating of a tenant's small dog - Oreo (Jack Russel Terrier) and our much larger dog - Marshall - (an Australian Shepherd). (? Where there's a will..)
We adopted Angus out to a woman in Manassas Virginia (We lived in Alexandria VA) who sent us a few pics of her new pup at home. We noticed immediately the lap that he was sitting on was clothed in skulls. That is, the fabric of the gal's pants was a pattern of a thousand or so skulls. (Remember how accursed objects carry demons?..)
A few months later, the gal called to say she was losing her townhouse (where she turned out to be a rentor, not an owner) and moving into an apartment where she was not permitted to have pets.
I visited her to retrieve the - now - 8 month old puppy, on a day when I was out that way. A 3 year old opened the door when I knocked. Looks like her mom was upstairs in her room entertaining her boyfriend. (She never came down the whole time I was there)
The little girl let me in (!!) and when I stepped into the small vestibule I could see pretty much the whole small first floor at once. In a room off to the right, sat Angus - larger than when he'd left me - but still a small dog - in a small crate. (I learned later that was where she kept him all the time).
The little girl went over and opened the crate. Angus burst out like a 2 year old colt from the starting gate, and proceeded to race around that first floor of the town house in circles. He never stopped.
At one point, I grabbed him, counseled the little girl to close the door and NOT ANSWER to strangers, and left.
Angus did the same thing when we got home to my house.. He raced around the entire main floor, like a whirling dervish.
I grabbed him again, took him to that outside porch that you see in the photo, pinned him to the deck, and cast the demons out of him. He sat up, and walked with me into the house quiet as a church mouse.
Shortly thereafter, I advertised him for adoption. A nice couple came and were very impressed with how well he comported himself. Somewhere I have the photo of Angus sitting on my living room sofa, the couple on either side of him, like the trees in Revelation 22:2.. And just as quiet.
Angus, the restored soul, left happily to his new home.
Bless God who loves the little animals too!
